Isaac and I had some light hearted chat about TV shows before moving on to much more serious matters with a guest.

Ben Emlyn-Jones (starts at 10 mins 32 secs)

In part one of a special pair of episodes, Isaac and I speak to Ben Emlyn-Jones. Ben is a former hospital porter turned researcher and conspiracy theorist. We speak to him about all sorts of topics including 9/11, the Mecca crane disaster, Princess Diana and other royals, Jimmy Saville and the Bilderberg group.

You can find Ben’s main blogs at HPANWO and HPANWO Voice. You can also find him on Twitter and Google+. He has loads of videos on his YouTube Channel including a pretty funny parody of Professor Brian Cox. He’s also a regular on the Mind Set Podcast (be warned, it has lots of swearing and is definitely NSFW)

We’ll be back soon for part two where we delve into even more tinfoil hat topics.

EDIT: It’s now available here.

We didn’t have time to cover your feedback but do keep it coming and we will discuss it on episode 17. If you want to get in contact, you can email me at JoeRessPodcast at Gmail or podcast at joeress.

Speak soon.

  1. Pretty disappointing interview. Ben Emlyn-Jones seems to be the physical embodiment of the saying “if you don’t stand for something you’ll fall for anything.” If you don’t have a set of consistent principles in place and the intellectual tools to assess the authenticity of data, you can end up believing all kinds of rubbish. This guy is the reason I couldn’t listen to mind set. I haven’t yet heard him put forward any evidence or state what he believes, apart from repeatedly misstating Occam’s razor. Just because he can form a sentence and talk about 9/11 without shouting doesn’t mean he has anything worthwhile to contribute. He is far too willing to talk about things that he admits he knows nothing about, eg. cranes in Mecca. School Sucks Project are doing an excellent series at the moment looking at conspiracy theories, worth a look for anyone who found this a bit light.
